Meikleour Fishing on the River Tay are hosting a one day casting course on Friday 16th March (8.30am-5pm) with Tom Brown. The day is aimed at the complete beginner through to the competent caster wanting a refresher.
The course starts at 8:30am at the fishing hut with bacon rolls and coffee on arrival.
Program:
8:30: Meet at the hut. Outline of the day ahead
9:00: Introduction to Spey Casting.
10:00: Casting tuition and one to one coaching
13:00: Lunch
14:00: Spey casting practice and river-craft surgery: Participants will have the opportunity to fish one of our famous pools under Tom’s guidance.
15:30: Learn further styles of casting while fishing
17:00: Debrief on the day, Q&A
After 17:00: participants are welcome to fish from the bank.
