The Nith and Annan Fishery Trust’s are hosting a grayling weekend on Saturday 9th and 10th January 2016. The purpose of the weekend is to provide an opportunity for anglers to experience Grayling fishing on the various beats of the Nith and Annan. Anglers catches will help the trusts with valuable information on the distribution of these fish and status of Grayling stocks on the river Nith and Annan.
Access to the Beats on the Annan and Nith has been provided by kind permission of the various owners, but a small donation of £10 is requested, proceeds will go to the respective Fishery Trust. Bring either a fly rod or a float rod all they ask anglers for is the length of every fish (whatever species) to be recorded and if people have accurate scales for the weight to be recorded. Remember anglers must pre-book (see contact details below).
We very much hope that you come along and experience the Grayling Fishing on the River Nith and Annan and perhaps enjoy a whole weekend Grayling Fishing on these productive grayling rivers.
